Ground and
Low-Level Aerial Photography 0 to 50 ft (Generally $175-375.00)
For this type of photograph we shoot traditional ground exteriors or manipulate the camera remotely through the use of a telescoping mast on which the camera is mounted. (Site must be vehicle accessable or additional charges apply for remote equipment placement). Low-altitude aerial photos are captured from an oblique perspective. This enhances their three-dimensional nature and produces unique and astoundingly beautiful photographs of landscapes, real estate, properties, special events - any subject in which detail is the number one priority. This service offers accessibility to almost any location and the lowest overall price.

Mid-Level Aerial Photography 50 to 500 feet
The mid-level aerial photography option makes use of a large helium-filled balloon (affectionately known as a " blimp") from which is suspended the camera and a remote control system to operate it. The primary benefit of this service is that it can access altitudes inaccessible to regulated aircraft, in a quiet manner which is not disruptive to the surroundings. This advantage often avoids the use of a telephoto lens which can optically flatten your images, resulting in a loss of depth. Overall, this service provides the user with the most versatile range of photographic perspectives. It is accessible to most locations but due to it's dependence on relatively calm weather, in Chicago it is more costly than the Tall Mast system. Currently unavailable due to 9/11 restrictions. |

High-Level Aerial Photography 1,000 feet and above (Generally $395+)
The high level service is, of course, the conventional aircraft based aerial photography that everyone is accustomed to. Through the use of a fixed wing or rotor aircraft, Aerial Innovation Services is able to produce photographs from higher altitudes and covering more acreage than the above options, for almost any purpose you require. This service is the more costly of the three options and FAA regulations require that aircraft generally stay above 1,000 feet over populated areas.
