          Q: How much does it cost for an aerial photograph of my site? 
          A: Normal aerial photography costs between $500 - 750.00 if shot from a airplane or helicopter.

               Our costs are less but depend on the images you want and equipment used:

               If the site is within the North Shore or Greater Chicago area, our costs average $150-250.00 per site

               when using a Tall Tripod and $350-500.00 for airplane!   Call for a free quote!

Q: What do I get for my money?
A: We provide you with an average of 5-10 digital images via email or CD (generally add three days

     for CD and delivery by mail). Prints, enlargements, or special services (like digital

     editing or graphics work) are also available at a reasonable additional charge.

Q: How long does it take to get my site photographed?
A: The weather (and other clients) are always the determining factors, so you should allow at least

     5-7 days for completion of your order.  If we get it done earlier, you'll get it earlier!

Q: How do I order a job?
A: Fill out a Quote Form or fax/email us:

  1. Site information and location - indicating which direction the property faces.
  2. Your phone number and fax number (if available).
  3. Your delivery address
  4. Your Purchase Order number (if used).
  5. And it is helpful to know the objectives of your photos and your suggestions for which angles you wish shot.

          Q: After it is shot, how long does it take to get my photos? 
          A: We normally get your photos to you by email within 24 hours and by US mail within 3-4 days of the shoot.

          Q: Who keeps the negatives? 
          A: Aerial Innovation Services owns and keeps all digital images and negatives (in accordance

               with U.S. copyright laws) where they are archived for your future use. All images can be licensed or

               purchased. 


          Q: Can I get transparencies? 
          A: Yes, if you tell us when booking the job we will shoot on slide film. We normally shoot in digital,

               but are capable of shooting in 35 mm slide film. 

          Q: What does it cost for a really urgent job? 
          A: Urgent jobs with 1-2 day lead times add 50% (depending on the weather).

          Q: Can I book you for a particular event, day etc? 
          A: Yes, we do sports events, carnivals, rallies, shows etc., for an additional charge. 
          Note: Booking for full day events often reduces your cost compared to multiple sites - ask for quote.

 

          Q: What size enlargements can I get? 
          A: We can enlarge from 4" x 6" to 20" x 30" and all sizes in between.  Special arrangements may

               be made for larger enlargements if requested before we shoot the site.

          Q: Do you mount and frame photos? 
          A: Yes, mounting, framing and other custom services are also available.  Tell us what you need

               when you call for a quote and we will strive to meet your needs.
